I had already moved from Toronto to Montreal when I got a new job in Calgary. The first time I hired 2 small men, they were good, not great, and I didn't feel the urge to hire them again. A friend recommended Centennial, and I was very impressed by their service. The day before I moved their manager called me and made sure everything was in order; he asked questions I wouldn't have thought of, like whether I had grouped similar items together regardless of location to save space, or was transporting enough items myself to rent a smaller truck. I decided I could use some help packing, and the next day the team arrived at 7:30 with extra boxes, tape, and paper. The two movers were very friendly and professional, transporting my items with great care. There was no damage, and the team even finished 30 minutes before they had planned.
Overall the company exceeded my expectations. In terms of price, we agreed on the charges beforehand (because of my friend, I received a discount) and there were no hidden fees. Centennial isn't not the cheapest company around, but it's not the most expensive either, and worth it for the better service.
